Supervision and Consultation

It’s Time to Start Your Adventure!

Are you excited to begin practicing Adventure Therapy? Do you need guidance in navigating how to implement new interventions into your practice? Using new interventions in therapy often requires support and mentoring from someone with experience. It is critical to make sure you are practicing in a safe, effective and ethical way.  Supervision specific to the practice of Adventure Therapy gives new and experienced clinicians the support they need to enhance their Adventure Therapy facilitation skills.   Practitioners and programs looking to integrate Adventure Therapy practices into their current offerings face similar challenges as new clinicians. What safety practices should I use?  Do I have written policies and procedures?  How do I communicate about Adventure Therapy to my clients, funders, and referral sources? What is best practice? Adventure Therapist, LLC can help. We offer both supervision and consultation services to professionals who want support in implementing their clinical Adventure Therapy practice.

Supervision

Modality-specific supervision is an important part of implementing new intervention practices. Whether you are a new therapist or new to Adventure Therapy practice, we have the knowledge, skills and experience to help you use AT in your practice.

*Note: We differentiate adventure therapy specific supervision from what is typically called “clinical supervision” and is required in many jurisdictions for licensure. We are licensed in CO, MA & OH and are happy to discuss clinical supervision if you are in those states.

What we cover:
